Brian is a self-taught camera operator, editor, and motion graphics producer. He has produced long and short-form video about politics, culture, and technology. Brian shoots with Canon DSLR video cameras, and is proficient in editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition, Photoshop, and Final Cut Pro.
This is a 15-minute documentary produced by Brian Patrick Byrne between January and June 2017. Brian conducted all research and production, and interviewed white nationalists, journalists, and other individuals in New York City, and Washington, D.C. as part of the feature.
In this four minute interview with guitarist and producer James Labrosse, Brian talks to James about the anxiety he had to overcome in order to perform well on stage. Brian speaks to James in his home in Astoria, Queens, and later follows him to a gig in Harlem.
Brian used Adobe After Effects to produce a lyric video for the song "Drive It Like You Stole It" from the excellent 2016 Irish movie "Sing Street."
Brian cut this 30-second trailer for the 22-minute Vice documentary "How To Buy a Gun In Canada: Armed and Reasonable."
